The ceremony was held on November, 29 at White Hall venue. In total 7 companies received the prize in 2018. UZPM received the Tvyordy Znak prize for investment into the raw materials extraction project. Dmitry Pylev, Director General of Ural Plant of Deicing Materials was presented with the award.
Publishing house Kommersant-Prikamye has held the fifth annual ceremony "Tvyordye Znaki" within the framework of which companies implementing large-scale capital investment projects in the region have been nominated. Ural Plant of Deicing Materials was one of the nominees.
“UZPM was founded a little more than 10 years ago. Then and now we have been setting challenging tasks for ourselves. First, to develop the business from scratch, and then to come into the Russian regional markets. Now we realize that our products are in demand outside our country. The project that we have started will allow us to reach new frontiers.” – Dmitry Pylev shared after the awards presentation.
UZPM has started the large-scale capital investment project to create a production line for new types of special purpose chemical agents, as well as develop its own raw materials storage tank.
Within this program framework existing equipment modernization and production improvement steps are planned. The aggregate investment exceeds 1 billion rubles.
The project implementation is underway.
