This winter, about 1,000 tonnes of Bionord agents were purchased to deice the territory of Skolkovo, a modern scientific and technological innovation facility for the development and commercialization of new technologies.
Skolkovo is one of the best-known facilities in Russia. The country's scientific elite live and work here. The products of Ural Plant of Deicing Materials (UZPM), which has its production site in Krasnokamsk, Perm Krai, have been used in the science city for the second year already.
The science city represents a developed ecosystem with multi-apartment residential buildings, cottages, numerous offices, laboratory buildings, sports centers, shops, an international school, a university, and a significant number of research and development centres of large corporations.
“Bionord, advanced environmentally friendly deicing materials, are the most suitable for winter maintenance of internal zones of the scientific and technological innovation facility. UZPM is the first company in Russia which received GOST R 58427-2020 certificates for its deicing materials. Our agents passed the environmental impact assessment made by Rosprirodnadzor (Federal Service for Supervision of Natural Resources) and passed a comprehensive assessment of impact on the environment. Bionord has the lowest impact on the leather of footwear and on metal structures thanks to the presence of eco-friendly additives and rust preventive components which make it safe for the infrastructure and unique buildings of the city of the future embodied by Skolkovo,” Evgeniy Nemirovsky, Adviser to the General Director for Development of UZPM, said. “Moreover, as compared to conventional sand and salt mixtures, Bionord is completely soluble, does not lead to the salinization of the soil in spring, and this is especially important for parks and water bodies in the territory of the innovative centre.
