The Winter Sports Festival has started in Perm, with Ural Plant of Deicing Materials, a leading Russian manufacturer of highly effective deicing products under the Bionord brand, as its title partner. About 30 events are planned for the 2024-2025 winter season, all of which will take place at the Bionord Skating Rink in front of the Theatre-Theatre.
Tatyana Chesnokova, the Minister of Physical Education and Sports of Perm Krai, congratulated the citizens and guests of the city on the opening of the central city space for active recreation.
“For the third year, we create a sports space that is much loved by the citizens of Perm and guests of the regional capital. The skating rink is a centre of attraction for the citizens, including young people and families with children. This is an excellent opportunity to spend time actively and interestingly. An eventful program is also planned for this season,” Tatyana Chesnokova said.
“City spaces get a new life when technologies and initiatives complement each other. This allows turning familiar streets and squares into living and warm spaces where people can spend time actively and enjoy the winter atmosphere. In this regard, the Bionord Skating Rink is not just a place for skating, but also a symbol of the holiday atmosphere that unites citizens and guests of the city,” Rustam Gilfanov, Bionord developer and creator, said.

The total area of the skating rink exceeds two thousand square meters. The ice arena consists of the main rink and the children's skating rink. For the convenience of visitors, there is a recreation area with a veranda café, skate rental and decorated photo booths.
The skating is free and requires only prior registration on the smart-sport.rf portal.
You need to indicate your first name, patronymic and surname. Then, select the date of the visit to the skating rink and click on the “Make an Appointment” button. A QR-code will be generated in your personal account, which can be printed or saved to your phone. When visiting events, the participant will have to present this QR-code to the controller at the entrance.
Skating rink working hours:
· on weekdays from 10:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m., from Friday to Sunday – to 11:00 p.m.
· service break: from 04:00 p.m. to 05:00 p.m. the skating rink is closed for service.
The working hours may change depending on the weather conditions.
