The Ural Plant of Deicing Materials (UZPM), a leading Russian manufacturer of modern winter and off-season road maintenance products under the Bionord brand, has supplied its innovative Bionord Antidust dedusting compound to a coal mine in Khabarovsk Krai. The delivery was carried out under an agreement with a major service company that provides a full cycle of operations at the mining facilities across several regions of the country.
This batch is a trial run, and the decision to expand future supplies will be made based on the results of its application. The customer will evaluate the product’s effectiveness following intensive use at the mining site and on haul truck transit routes.
Bionord Antidust is UZPM’s unique proprietary development. The product is designed to reduce the environmental impact in the areas where dust pollution is a serious issue, such as open-pit mines, roads, etc. Owing to the protective film it creates, the compound binds fine dust particles and prevents them from becoming airborne again in windy conditions or during vehicle movement.
The effectiveness of Bionord Antidust is proven by industrial trials. The dust suppression effect is long-lasting and can endure for up to 10 days. The product holds a complete package of permit documentation, including expert opinions from Rospotrebnadzor (Federal Service for Surveillance on Consumer Rights Protection and Human Wellbeing), safety data sheets, and certificates of conformity.
Today, Bionord Antidust is utilized at major mining and processing plants, marble quarrying enterprises, and in road construction and maintenance. The geographical footprint of the product application spans from the Ural Mountains to Zabaykalsky Krai and the Republic of Sakha (Yakutia).
