On July 13, 2023, the final of 6v6 Champions Cup of Night Football League took place at Dinamo stadium in Perm. The champions of the first and second divisions of the spring-summer season — GACHA-950 and BIONORD-UZPM, team of Ural Plant of Deicing Materials, — competed for first place. The score was 3 to 1 in favor of UZPM.
Previously this year, the Krasnokamsk team has already succeeded in becoming champions of 6v6 Amateur Football League of Perm Krai and was the only never defeated team among more than 40 other teams throughout several weeks of the Amateur Football League Championship.
Then, for two more months BIONORD-UZPM football team participated in the 6v6 Gold Cup of the Amateur Football League among the Championship prize winners, where the team was never defeated and successfully won the Gold Cup of the Amateur Football League.
The spring-summer season matches of the Night Football League began in May. In parallel with regular Night Football League matches, the Champions Cup was held where the best teams from each division played with each other. Before winning the Champions Cup, UZPM team took first place in the 2nd division.
“I and other players were full of emotions. We were glad to become champions of the 2nd division, but it was of particular importance to demonstrate that we are the best of the best among all divisions, so we were strongly focused on the final of the Champions Cup. And that had an effect: according to the spring-summer season we have become winners of two NFL Cups,” Aleksey Prokopenko, Director of UZPM Production Facility, commented on the success of the team.
