On July 29-30, 2023, in the territory of a ski resort in the village of Chernaya, a tourist camp meeting of employees of companies and organizations of Krasnokamsk Urban District of Perm Krai, dedicated to the 85th anniversary of the city of Krasnokamsk, took place.
11 teams attended the event: Energy selected team of trade union organizations, Mediciners team of employees of EMERCOM of Russia and healthcare professionals, teams of Olympiysky sports and recreation facility, Gorod Miloserdiya independent nonprofit organization, GKVA, PTZhB, Temnaya Loshadka, Goznak, Sokol, as well as UZPM of Ural Plant of Deicing Materials.
The participants of the tourist camp meeting took part in an eventful sports and cultural programme. The sporting contests included passing a tourist route, air rifle shooting, football darts, orienting as a relay race, and tug of war.
In the framework of the entertainments the “Visiting a Fairytale” bivouac competition was held in which a tent city’s colorfulness, cordiality, environmental friendliness, and belonging to a fairytale were assessed. UZPM team took 1st place in this competition and presented an objet d'art dedicated to the 85th anniversary of Krasnokamsk. The judges highly appreciated the installation made by the Plant employees and suggested that UZPM should let the head of the town know their idea of creating an objet d'art of same large size for the Town Day on September 16, 2023.
The eventful programme terminated by “Dancing” competition when dances were evaluated based on their matching with the content and meaning of a chosen fairytale including additional scenery and costumes.
“Such events are very important to the Company, as well to the district, and to Perm Krai as a whole. This is not just memorable leisure activity. Tourist camp meetings allow the employees and their families to have a good time and to enhance relations with their colleagues. There are no job titles at a tourist camp meeting: all employees represent one solid team where everyone sincerely cares about the others. And, of course, such events clearly demonstrate Perm Krai potential in view of the development of domestic tourism,” Aleksey Prokopenko, Director of UZPM Production Facility, says.
