On March 16, 2023, at Perm State University (Perm State University is a member of Rational Subsurface Use scientific and educational center) CHEMISTRY Draft was first held as mutual presentations made by representatives of chemical industry companies and students of industry-specific faculties who were interested in apprenticeship and summer internship. Ural Plant of Deicing Materials participated in CHEMISTRY Draft and selected future specialists for apprenticeship.
The event was arranged as a business card exchange: a would-be employee and a would-be employer introduced themselves, their preferences, and expectations regarding each other, and then answered questions. At the same time, within 1 minute, would-be employees had to concisely and clearly present themselves as young professionals, outline their strengths, interests, and aspirations. Based on the results of the Draft, companies chose the most suitable candidates for apprenticeship or internship. Already this summer, students of the Department of Chemistry of Perm State University selected by UZPM will do their internship as process engineers and will be trained to maintain and control the manufacturing process and process documentation, as well as conduct development work.

CHEMISTRY Draft is a new efficient way of mutual selection of students and would-be employers. This is the first time the management of Perm State University has hosted such an event, and this is a really successful tool for building partnership relations between the University and business.”
Over 15 years of operation, Ural Plant of Deicing Materials has become one of the biggest manufacturers of environment friendly products for winter road maintenance. The Company employs about 500 people, and the average age of specialists is 30-35 years.
