Experts of Ural Plant of Deicing Materials (UZPM) are participating in the 27TH Central Asian international Mining Exploration & Mining Equipment exhibition held during these days in Almaty (the Republic of Kazakhstan).

The large-scale event under the auspices of the Ministry of Industry and Infrastructural Development of the Republic of Kazakhstan annually brings together hundreds of participating companies and thousands of visitors: manufactures and suppliers of equipment, representatives of mining and metallurgical holdings, academic community, and government authorities.

Machinery, services, and technologies for mining companies, as well as mining safety solutions, solutions for digitization and automation from 23 countries — including Russia, Kazakhstan, India, Iran, South Korea, and Turkey — offered to mining companies are exhibited on the site occupying more than 4 000 square meters.

At the exhibition, Ural Plant of Deicing Materials has presented the following anti-dust agent for industrial application: Bionord Antidust. As experts say, generated dust is one of the main problems occurring in the process of handling coal and ore materials. The use of modern anti-dust agents allows you, first of all, to enhance environmental safety in production facilities through significant reduction of the amount of harmful substances emitted into the atmosphere.

Bionord Antidust binds small particles of solids, thus forming a strong wind resistant film on the surface of materials. The duration of such anti-dust effect is a few dozen times higher than that of ordinary water.

Thanks to the innovation, mining companies may increase the output capacity of mines and open pits and reduce equipment maintenance costs as a result of decreased dust impact on moving parts of equipment, reduce transportation costs and promote environmental consciousness at production sites, thus ensuring favorable working environment.

NLMK (Novolipetsk Steel), Lukoil, and EuroChem, as well as representatives of mining and metal sector of the Republic of Kazakhstan showed their interest in UZPM products.

Evgeniy Nemirovskiy, Development Adviser to UZPM General Director, commented, “Challenges of the current year have not sidelined the environmental agenda: as always, companies try to minimize environmental impact and avoid economic losses. Meeting industry requests, our Company develops environment oriented innovations. We add new production capacities allowing us to have and process particular components for anti-dust agents; we switch to domestic raw materials. Bionord Antidust has been successfully tested by mining companies in Russia including Evraz. Today Bionord Antidust is widely used on roads in Novosibirsk and cities of the North Caucasus.”
