Ural Plant of Deicing Materials (UZPM) experts have taken part in Kazautoroad-Kaztraffic international industry exhibition held in Nur-Sultan (Kazakhstan) on 18-19 November.
One of the largest road industry events has been held annually for 17 years with unwavering support of the Ministry of Industry and Infrastructural Development of the Republic of Kazakhstan. Participation of the Ministry leadership and representatives of Akimats (local councils) of the Republic's major cities in official sessions emphasizes the exhibition's high status. The event assembles experts of associations and the National Road Asset Quality Centre of the Republic of Kazakhstan, representatives of management companies, housing and utilities enterprises and the largest manufacturers of machinery and materials for the road industry.
This time, International Exhibition Centre EXPO accommodated the exhibitions of more than 100 major companies from Russia, Belarus, Ukraine, Germany, France, Turkey and the US. They presented innovative equipment for roadbed construction, assessment and maintenance, cutting-edge technologies and materials for upkeep of motorways, bridges and fly-over crossings, intelligent transportation systems for road network management and IT solutions for safety on the road.
UZPM showcased the products intended for interregional and municipal roads and bridges: Bionord Universal, Bionord Bridges, Bionord Shampoo, and a novel solution for dust suppression – Bionord Antidust. This summer the new product underwent a successful trial by mining companies and on the roads of Kazan and Novorossiysk, and is being applied in Novosibirsk and the North Caucasus cities since the autumn.
UZPM commerce department specialists took part in the business programme as experts in the conference "Science and innovation. Motorway construction and operation quality improvement". The event included discussions concerning the problems of road winter maintenance, innovative solutions for road surface treatment and motorway industry digitization, and featured presentations of the best projects successfully implemented in the territory of Kazakhstan and the CIS countries. Representatives of several companies of Belarus and Russia, including the Ural Plant of Deicing Materials, were invited to a meeting in the Ministry of Industry and Trade to discuss cooperation prospects.
