On June 2-3, 2023, “The Nature of the City” EcoFest arranged by the Administration of Perm and Perm Park Municipal Institution took place being supported by the Government of Perm Krai, the Ministry of Natural Resources, Forest Management and the Environment of Perm Krai. Ural Plant of Deicing Materials was the EcoFest’s official partner.
Over two days Perm residents enhanced their level of environmental awareness and learned to help the nature. The EcoFest events involved almost the entire territory of the city: clean-up days in parks and on the banks of the Kama River, a business programme in the library, an interactive site and stage on the Esplanade.
Ural Plant of Deicing Materials supported the EcoFest and made it happen: UZPM employees’ children attended the “Divide and Celebrate” waste sorting training and, as environment volunteers, participated in planting nectariferous plants. Rudolf Ponomarev, Deputy Commercial Director of UZPM for Wholesale Sales, made a speech during the “Role of Industrial Companies in the Environmental Development of the City” discussion and spoke about Bionord environment-friendly products designed to maintain the road infrastructure and ensure the environmental safety of the city, as well as about Bionord advantages over salt and sand mixtures.
During two days of the EcoFest, over 600 children and adults participated in workshops and chemical shows, acquired new knowledge, got impressions and great gifts in UZPM’s pavilion on the Esplanade.
