Ural Plant of Deicing Materials LLC (UZPM LLC, part of WTG business community) continues to upgrade its production: new deicing materials compaction equipment made in China is being installed at the Krasnokamsk industrial site.
After mixing and pre-crushing, feedstock for deicing materials is fed to the compactor. Then the main process occurs – all components are pressed into a single pellet. The product at the outlet of the compactor is a kind of a briquette, which is further crushed, fed to a screening machine and packed. The resulting deicing material undergoes compulsory inspection by the quality control department before dispatch to the customer.
Launch of the new compactors is expected to significantly increase the efficiency of the production process and quality parameters of finished products. Newly installed compactors will be included in the core production process of the plant. The units will be equipped with an automation system, which will ensure high-quality fault-free production of deicing materials. The entire technological process will be controlled by the unit operator.
Design output of finished products is 150 tons per day. Launch of compactors is scheduled for autumn 2022. After commissioning, the equipment will increase production volumes up to 40,000 tons per year.
