December 24, 2019 -- The city of Perm hosted the winners of the 22nd “100 Best Products of Russia” contest, at its final, federal-level phase. The award ceremony took place in the regional government’s assembly hall on Friday, December 20.

100 Best Products of Russia has been awarded to BIONORD deicers produced by Ural Plant of Deicing Materials, UZPM. The expert commission has nominated four products in the “Industrial and engineering products” category: BIONORD UNIVERSAL, BIONORD BRIDGES, BIONORD PAVEMENTS and the technical shampoo. Dmitry Pylev, General Director of UZPM received the award in person.

“On behalf of our whole team, I am thankful to the expert commission for its high assessment of UZPM performance. One of the quality indicators of our products is 25% to 50% reduction in the statistics of winter traffic accidents and injuries from slipping on ice in the cities which use them. We will work to make Russian cities ever more comfortable for drivers and pedestrians,” said Dmitry Pylev.

“100 Best Products of Russia” is a Russian national competition which aims at selecting and fostering products and services of the best quality. It promotes the competitive ability of Russian enterprises and encourages them to improve their products further.

Previously UZPM has been nominated and received multiple awards in the “100 Best Products of Russia” contest. The company’s history started in 2007 with a small production shop in Krasnokamsk. Presently the plant has grown into a group of companies and has become a recognized leader of the deicing industry. UZPM creates effective and eco-friendly new generation materials to combat winter slipperiness on the roads, pavements, bridges, railroad facilities and airfields.
