Last week, the first 30 tonnes of Bionord Universal deicing material were delivered to Spetzavtokhozyaistvo Municipal State-Funded Institution in Kolomna which is going to use the deicing material in the territory of the 24 ha Kolomna Kremlin Open-Air Museum and in the entire tourist zone. Transservice LLC is the supplier of Ural Plant of Deicing Materials (UZPM) products for the needs of Kolomna maintenance service.
The Kolomna Kremlin is not just the main landmark of the ancient city; it is also one of the symbols of Russia depicted on the reverse of a three-ruble coin. According to Dmitry Pylev, General Director of UZPM, the Kolomna Kremlin is not the first cultural heritage site where Bionord is going to be used.
“Our products are listed among the most safe advanced deicing materials having the least possible impact on the infrastructure elements, bridges, road surface; that is why they are used on Red Square in Moscow, in the territories of the Hermitage, the Mariinsky Theater in Saint Petersburg, the Palace in Tsarskoye Selo, the Gatchina Palace and Park, as well as in the historical centre of Yaroslavl,” Dmitry Pylev said. – “The territory of the Kolomna Kremlin is always open, that means that, this is one of the areas of Kolomna where everyone can walk freely, not only museum visitors. About 200 thousand people come there every year, and in winter people should feel as comfortable and safe to walk there as in summer. Deicing materials manufactured by Ural Plant of Deicing Materials completely dissolve together with ice and snow, do not cause sediment formation, do not turn into dust, do not cause allergies, and do not have any impact on pedestrian footwear or animal paws.”
