Products of Ural Plant of Deicing Materials became the winners of the federal stage of 100 Best Goods of Russia, an all-Russian competition held already for the 25th time. In the framework of Technical and Industrial Goods nomination the Committee of Experts particularly noted Bionord Universal and Bionord Pavements multi-component environment-friendly deicing agents. According to the competition conditions, for two years these products may contain 100 Best Goods of Russia sign in their Quality Certificate. Khalef Gilfanov, UZPM Development Director, received this well-deserved award.
The high opinion expressed by the Committee of Experts is the result of successful work of the entire UZPM team in the development and implementation of winter road maintenance technologies unique for domestic industry. The Company pays particular attention to the quality and environmental safety of the products. That is why exactly UZPM was the first company in Russia to receive GOST certificates for deicing materials.
One of the quality indicators of the products is their high efficiency: if our products are used, Bionord, for instance, ensures the reduction of winter accidents of up to 30% and the reduction of injuries associated with icy roads and pavements in cities of up to 50%. The composition of the agents, as well as the shape and size of their granules, provide the necessary level of adhesion to roads having any type surface; the agents effectively melt ice at extremely low temperatures. Today UZPM products are supplied to 60 cities of Russia and to countries of the Customs Union. Street and road networks of big cities, federal highways, bridges, cultural heritage sites, healthcare facilities, facilities of power industry, and airports are treated with Bionord.
